#EndSARS
A THREAD.
I am a nigerian but i have lived in Ghana for the past 23 years. And that has been the best decision of my life. I love the peace here. Police brutality in Ghana? U never hear of it. Oh wait. There is one i remember. Well i wont call it police brutality.
Let me tell you of a story of a woman that was assaulted here in Ghana in a banking hall by a police officer. The police officer got physical with her because he told her to leave cos the bank was closed but she refused because she really wanted her money. Below is the video👇🏾
This rarely happens in Ghana. So when this happened guess what ? It was news all over the country. It got everyone talking. Everyone was calling for the head of the police officer because he was clearly abusing his power.
After this made headlines. Guess what happened?
The police man was ARRESTED without no question. He lost his job too!! And it gets interesting. Even the President of Ghana had something to say about this.
Yes you read right! He was prosecuted. The Ghanaian president can not sit back like how buhari is doing and see the police violate his citizens right.

It gets interesting. The woman who was assaulted? You wont believe what happened to her.
She was compensated with a house.! Yes! A HOUSE! and thats not all she was also given 100,00ghc. Which is equivalent to about 6 million 600 thousand naira. Yes! Suprising right? Thats Ghana for you.
Purpose of this thread? I hope nigerian gov can learn from this and treat its citizens like humans!!!
