My 2 cents about 'our mojo': it was actually a very well thought out episode. Lucifer has the following problem: he loves Chloe a lot more than he loves himself. Someone should say that this isn't a problem, but in reality it is. (1)
Because when you love someone more than yourself you loose what makes you...well you. It's like what Linda said in the same episode: being together with someone mean sharing things without losing yourself in the process. (2)
Problem is that Lucifer has never been in relationship like that before. So what happens? His self-actualize comes into play. His inner desire to share things with her becomes him sharing the mojo with her. (3)
But his self-hate transforms it not only in 'sharing' but 'giving' it to her completely. And this is where he panics because without that huge part of himself, who he is? Identity has always been something that Lucifer struggled with it for the great part of the show.
Is he the Devil? Is he an angel? Is he both? Every time he gives an answer to that question, there is something coming who threatens that answer. Same here. Who he is without the mojo? Is he still useful to Chloe? (5)
Or she's going to realize that at the end of the day she doesn't need him anymore? That he's not worthy? Because that's what he thinks of himself deep down: that no matter what he does, he will never be worthy and when she's going to realize it too, she will abandon him (6)
exactly like his family did. It's not until the end of the episode that he's able to see another perspective on things. But still...it's just a band-aid. (7)
His fears and self-hate are still there under the surface. If he wants to have an healthy relationship with Chloe, he needs to learn to love himself too. (8)
