Hi everyone! Last October 10, 2020, a young man named Carlo Acutis was beatified in Assisi. I am still in awe to know someone so young yet so holy. I feel the need to introduce him to people here. Here's a thread about Bl. Carlo Acutis:
Bl. Carlo Acutis was born on May 3, 1991, the only son of Antonia Salzano and Andrea Acutis. He was born in London, UK.
He received his First Communion at the age of 7 and from never failed to pray the rosary and to attend mass daily. He fell in love with the Eucharist and wished to offer adore Jesus who is truly present in the Eucharist.
Despite this, Bl. Carlo actually lived a very normal life. He was a gamer and owned a Gamecube, a PlayStation, and a Xbox! He was really fond of playing games like Super Mario and Need for Speed. In fact, we also liked Pokemon!
He was also a tech-savvy! He can use Photoshop, do some video editing, and even taught himself how to code! He used this skill of his to research on hundreds of eucharistic miracles around the world. He compiled all these to a website we call all access!

He also loves to play football, and was a fan of A.C. Milan! Here's a jersey owned by Bl. Carlo with his idol's name and jersey number.
He's also a dog lover and owned a dog named Briciola. His dog is still alive today and is now 15 years old.
There is still a lot more about him and I think this thread would be too long to even accommodate all of it. In summary, he lived a very holy and cheerful life. He never failed to inspire everyone and to live out his faith with every way he can.
In 2006, he was diagnosed with a severe case of leukemia and died on October 12, 2006 at the age of 15. Amidst his suffering, he never failed to profess his faith and even offered his suffering for the Pope and the Church.
The life and example of Bl. Carlo Acutis is something we can all look up to. Everyday can be a chance to be holy. We can still devote our lives to God while enjoying the good things in life. Anyone can be a saint! You too can be a saint!
