Along w/the downfall of the GOP, will be the media. They had a chance to take down Trump & they flat out refused or kowtowed to him. They are going to think that his relentless attacks is what lowered public trust, but that won't be it. It is their behavior towards him.

When they go after ppl post Trump, ppl will throw up, 'well you didn't go after Trump like that & he did way worst' & ppl will shrug & move on. Bc media allowed Trump to gaslight, hurt & scar this nation. Like his border wall, they blew over.

Idk how long it will be before the Press will earn back public trust, but it will be a long while. They laid down w/a sick pit bull & those fleas will stick.
