So,it& #39;s Breast cancer awareness month. After my pinned post yesterday, I received a DM asking if men can get breast cancer.
The answer is YES but it& #39;s rare. It is most common in women
Male breast cancer is more common in older men but it occurs at any age
Men have breast tissue, most people don& #39;t realise this, and any cells in your body can get cancerous, ergo breast cancer in men
Symptoms to look out for include:
-a painless lump/thickening in your breast tissue.
-changes in your breast skin e.g scaling, puckering etc
- changes to you nipple e.g turning inwards, scaling

Factors that increase chances of male breast cancer include:
-old age
- exposure to oestrogens e.g oestrogen related drugs used in treatment of prostate cancer.
- family history of breast cancer.
- Klinefelter& #39;s. syndrome where a male is born with an extra copy of X-chromosome.

-Liver disease such as cirrhosis which reduces male hormones and increase female hormones in your body.
