Here it is everyone. You all asked for this, in this thread I will be explaining the very complex lore of Angry birds. Let’s dive right in.
The first game, Angry Birds, was published on December 11th, 2009, and was released on many different platforms, particularly mobile.
Development of Angry Birds dates all the way back to the early 2000’s, when the first pitch for the game was made by Game Designer Jaakko Lisalo. many changes were made, and the purple bird is what appears to be terrance, and no pigs were planned at all from the beginning
Angry Birds was inspired off a 2009 flash game known as Crush the Castle, and comparing the final game to it you can see where they took inspiration from.
The pigs in the game are based off an epidemic during the time known as swine flu, so they made the pigs the enemies, and they made them green to symbolize a type of sickness
It wasn’t until 2010 when Angry Birds got REALLY popular because it got featured on the App store as No#1. Everybody and their mom knew about this game, and this resulted in many merch, toys, games, and more.
The game’s plot is relatively simple, the pigs steal the birds’ eggs and they have to go through various missions to take them all of them down and get their eggs back
the levels take place in many different locations and settings, each one being different from the last, but the levels are structured the same, but with different changes made each time
Each of the levels have one main goal/objective. Get all of the stars by defeating all the pigs and using less birds for each one. This can get challenging but if you know where to aim it’s relatively simple.
In order to attack the pigs, the birds must use a slingshot, use whatever controller/screen you’re using to maneuver the slingshot to aim it at the enemy
depending on what material you use, you can defeat the pigs with one or two birds. sometimes it’s harder like stone, so you may need a powerup/different bird for that.
All the birds come in different shapes and sizes, here is the first one, Chuck. Chuck can go extremely fast with the push of a button, which can make it easier to kill enemies.
