2/12 Nothing will ever be gained from opposing sides constantly hurling these two terms at each other. It will only serve to widen the division of the debate.
Those who call themselves “Pro-Life” use such terminolgy only in order to insinuate that anyone else is “Anti-Life”.

3/12 The rebuttal, of course is “Pro-Choice”, or “My body, my decision”.

4/12 Most people don’t understand what “Pro-Choice” even means. Conservatives, especially YOUNG Conservatives, truly think that being “Pro-Choice” means that a Liberal Woman just ‘Chooses’ to go get knocked up and throw the baby away.
5/12 They have no idea that there was a time in our country that illegal abortions took place all the time. They don’t understand that ‘Roe vs Wade’ took the CHOICE away from the doctor and his moral compass, and put it in the hands of the woman.
6/12 I am Pro Life. Of Course I am. I don’t like abortion, I’m not sure anyone ‘likes’ abortion. It’s a horrible, gut wrenching decision that I don’t wish on anyone.
I wish every conception ensured the health of the mother.

I wish every conception ended up with a child born into a loving, caring, stable family.
HOWEVER, I will scream from the mountaintop everyday to keep abortion legal, because those hopes will never be reality.

8/12 Because making abortion illegal will not stop abortion.
Because making abortion illegal will only stop SAFE abortion.
Because making abortion illegal will send women and girls back to ‘Back-Alley Butchers’.

9/12 Because making abortion illegal will force women and girls to return to using knitting needles and throwing themselves down the stairs in order to terminate an unwanted pregnancy.
10/12 Abortion procedures cover a wide gamut of reasons (or neccessities) behind such a difficult decision. Reasons that most do not understand. Reasons that will never be understood by screaming “Pro-Choice” through a megaphone all day.
11/12We must do better while discussing this topic.
We cannot shut someone down because they are “pro-life”.
Let them know that it’s ok to want such an ideal way of life, and you want that too.
Help them to understand that this is an issue of healthcare, safety and well-being
