My Little Pony means a lot to me. It came out during the roughest parts of when I was younger and watching it helped me through it. I was able to escape from a loud household and a school where I had no friends into a world where everything was happy and everyone was friends +
MLP made me really inspired and imaginative, and it made me want to be more creative. Years of my life were mostly spend thinking up stories and making fan characters related to MLP. Playing with my toys and setting up little worlds that only I knew. Wanting to record and write.+
RainbowDash and Fluttershy became very big comfort characters to me. I favored my toys of them and made characters based around them, I wanted to name social media accounts after them. +
I loved RD because of her beautiful colors and she was so confident and I really lacked confidence when I was younger (and still do.) I loved Flutters because of her kindness and compassion, and how she found a closer friendship in animals rather than other ponies. +
I also ADORED the fandom, so so many amazing videos and drawings that I loved looking at, so many AUs I got invested in. This is one of the biggest fandoms I& #39;ve ever seen and it& #39;s a shame I never got to properly be in it before drifting away from MLP. +
Because, unfortunately, I have drifted away from MLP as I got older and made friends of my own. I never got to finish the series but I hope to get to it someday. I& #39;d love to re-watch all of it over the corse of a couple days if I ever get the time.
And... yeah. That& #39;s all I got to say. MLP means a lot to me and I would ve very different without it.
