Aside from Bl. Carlo Acutis, who’s a holy person you hope to see canonized some time in your lifetime? I’m curious to see who else is on the path of canonization! 👀

(Please reply with a name, a short bio, and a photo/picture if you have one!!!)
Sr. Clare Crockett, I believe had her cause opened. You can watch a documentary about her here: https://catholicsentinel.org/Content/Arts/Arts-and-Entertainment/Article/A-saint-in-the-making/6/31/36633
Servant of God, Dorothy Day, was an American Catholic who fought extensively for social justice. I haven’t read too much of her writings, but it’s on the top of my list.

I love the saying attributed to her: “I really love God only as much as the person I love least.”
Ven. Catherine McAuley! She is the founder of the @SistersofMercy who actually founded the University I now attend. She devoted her life extensively to the idea of mercy, recognizing the dignity of the other, and to serving those most in need no matter the cost!
Ven. Archbishop Fulton Sheen had his beatification postponed but is another I look forward too!

I’ve read a bit on him on a book, “Life Is Worth Living”. If you’re interested in a PDF of that book shoot me a DM and I’m happy to share it with you!
Bl. Solanus Casey!

From the tidbits I know of him I found his story relatable and inspiring. You can read more on him here: https://www.solanuscenter.org/about-us/get-to-know-fr-solanus
Last I think on my list is Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati! When I think of Catholic masculinity and what type of man I’d like to be I think of him!

Humble, adventurous, compassionate, making himself Christ to all.
