Ok. Its actually so fucking awful how horribly Kipo and the age of the Wonderbeasts is being treated and I just need to talk about it.
Now as I type this thread I will try to refrain from talking about my own opinions on characters and how much the show has meant to me.

So. Kipo and the age of the Wonderbeasts. Its a show known for its outstanding soundtrack and amazing poc rep. Every main character is a person of color, and actually mostly every character is except I think 3.
That is HUUUGE, considering the amount of rep thats given +

to people of color in literally every other show.
One of the main character is also gay, he says it on screen, and he even has a crush. no queerbaiting in kataow lol
This show has been out since January, and its fandom is very tiny, the show is ending on Monday +

(October 12th) and so its starting and ending in the same year. It sucks but it was intended to only have 3 seasons
But that doesnt take away from how HORRIBLY this show is being treated by Netflix and Dreamworks.
Compared to other dreamworks shows, kataow is being +

treated like shit.
Kipo was barley promoted about AT ALL this entire year of it being out, and now that season 3 is about to release, Dreamworks has decided to "promote" it.
EXCEPT the promoting is full clips from random episodes in season three + random screenshots

I can get behind maybe giving us one or two clips from the first episode. But they have given us 7+ clips that are like 2 or more minutes long. Some of these clips having MAJOOOORRRR spoilers in them!!!
I myself have not watched all of these clips because +

Im trying to refrain from spoilers. But I've seen what most of these clips are about, and without saying any spoilers, they are huge.
This is Kataows LAST season, and they have spoiled some huge plot points in season three, for literally no reason at all.
Instead of +

Giving us actual trailers (we've only had one, which also contained some big spoilers) or maybe the seasons soundtrack which we've asked for mannyyy times. They give us very big and obvious spoilers!
Like I said, kataow is such an amazing show, it has given poc +

a lot of ACTUAL rep (aka not the black bestfriend trope, kataow has shown these characters in depth, given them amazing personalities and uniqe backstories), and even mlm rep, which isnt represented a lot in cartoons.
And yet, its still getting treated like shit. +

And its so unfair and shows how much dreamworks and netflix actually care about shows where most of the characters aren't white. :I
Kipo ends very soon, the fandom is very tiny, and Netflix and Dreamworks never cared about Kipo as much as they shoudlve. And it sucks. +

And it makes me sad how I see so many people begging for more poc rep but when they actually get it, they dont care.
Honestly idk what else to say. I just wanted to make it clear how awful Kipo is being treated.
Kataow doesnt have its own acc (like a lot of other shows) +

it wasnt promoted through 99% of the shows running time, and the only "promoting" its getting, is major spoilers that no one asked for. And it just makes me so angry that such an amazing show is being treated like this, and once its over, Dreamworks is going to forget +

about it and leave it behind them.
Please please please watch Kipo and the age of the Wonderbeasts, its honestly such an amazing show, and I really do not want to watch it disappear without the amount of attention it deserves.
