Tweeting a lot does not make you a public health expert.

And of course, public health is not a monolith. You wouldn’t see a dermatologist for open heart surgery, so don’t assume public health degrees are interchangeable. Multiple types of public health expertise are needed in a pandemic - use them all.

- Heath communication & promotion
- Infectious disease
- Pharmaceutical development, delivery, & access

Don’t you want your pandemic response team to include experts in these?
