The Moon and The Sun - Yoonmin

Yoongi knew that this day would come, it was inevitable. Like the moon chasing after the sun, an impossible yet tireless cycle nothing had been able to stop. Sometimes, he wondered if he would ever stop running, he'd been running for years.
And the first time he slowed down enough to walk, was the day Jimin introduced her to the group. It was the same day Yoongi lost a piece of his heart. But he never stopped walking or chasing after the sun, even though his feet began hurting, even though the days became longer.
And she was beautiful, wasn't she? More than Yoongi could ever be.
She was the sky Jimin greeted every morning, shining effortlessly, while Yoongi fumbled blindly in the never ending dark night the universe had cursed him with. But it was silent, and he never stopped walking.
The second time he faltered in his steps was when Jimin announced that he had proposed to her, and that she'd said "Yes". The light illuminating a part of Yoongi's soul demolished. The nothingness lingering close to his existence pulled at the threads keeping his mind alive.
The days became longer as the sun was in love with the blue sky. And the nights took an endless shape, forbidding the moon from getting a glimpse of the sun. But Yoongi never stopped walking, he never stopped moving.
And now, Jimin was standing there in a white suit adorning his beautiful body as he waited for his bride to arrive to the altar. He glanced at Yoongi, a gorgeous smile that belonged to the sky. Yoongi returned the smile, blinked away the tears and knew that it was time to stop.
In another universe, Yoongi was still running, he was still chasing the sun, hoping and dreaming, tirelessly. But not in this one. Because in this one? He had lost.
The End.
