I hated the "X is the worst year ever" meme that has gone around for a couple of years.
I think it was 2017 or so when a rake of celebs died it first became a thing.
I always thought that it was kinda tasteless considering humanity was doing better than it& #39;s ever been.

Reduced inequalities, fewer people starving, more access to water, more people living safer lives than any other time in human history.
Just because your favorite actor died doesn& #39;t take away all that good. All that growth we should all be greatly appreciative of.

This isn& #39;t too say the world is perfect. Far from it, and it& #39;s human nature to always want to improve.
