Good evening everyone.
I am okay. I refused to run. I walked with my fist high up. @PoliceNG were all shooting at me as I walked away. I came out of the fence they cowardly built around themselves and about 4 of them came at me at the junction throwing bottled water this time 😁
With my fist still raised i told them how shameless they were. One of them cursed me and I gave it back to him. Only one of the bottled water they threw at me touched me slightly and from anyone far away with 4 of them throwing water bottles at me it would have seemed they had me
They kept firing canisters of tear gas at the protesters on the other side. I walked towards the Ministry of finance bridge with some of the protesters. I told them to disperse so as not to be targets of the little minded pathetic and snivelling cowards we had as police officers
We have not had
One of them had pushed me and the raised hand might be what some saw as a slap. No, I wasn't slapped and I refused to cower and I turned and gave them a piece of what I thought of their pathetic selves and if I am going to die, it would be with my fist high up and my mouth open
I went across the road and had started walking towards Unity Fountain when some of the other protesters met me and asked we walk the road down to the Ministry of finance side. We took that road and they came after us with their huge truck that looked like the hot water truck
I wasn't sure as my eyes were streaming from all the tear gas. I raised my fist high up and the few protesters with me also raised their hands . The truck just kept following us. Across the road they kept firing at the rest of the protesters that were on that side. Very shameless
A car came & stopped beside me & the lady and the gentleman in the car were so worried about me & wanted me in the car so they can drive me away from that area. My sister @MKabrik was already there to pick me and they only drove off after being sure I was safe.
Thank you to them
To the protesters that were out today, I want to say I AM SORRY.
My generation failed you. We didn't fight enough to give you a nation you deserve. You merely asked to be given right to live and they came and attacked you as if you were terrorists.
I really am sorry.
To all the protesters today, you are my heroes. You decided #EnoughIsEnough. Don't beat yourself up for how things went at the end. The depraved @PoliceNG is the problem. The callous, heartless, irresponsible and pathetic #CHIP Commander-in-chief Buhari @MBuhari is the problem
@PoliceNG officers had their men assembled and ready to shoot with guns and teargas canisters much earlier in the day and that was when I left where I sat at the back and came to the front to stand. They backed off. Later when I had again taken a back seat the cowards attacked.
