#WorldMentalHealthDay Gonna take today to congratulate myself on how far I’ve come since June 2019, when I first decided that I wanted to live no matter what.

My journey towards emotional healing hasn’t been easy but it’s incredible to see the progress I’ve made.

I still have a long way to go but I’m never gonna stop trying to understand who I am as a person, to see what my unhealthy coping mechanisms are, to unlearn them and to adapt better ones so that I can be the best version of myself for my self but also for everyone I love.

- Asking for help does not make you weak or vulnerable, it is a sign of strength.

- Its okay if you’re not feeling okay sometimes, its not your responsibility to be cheerful and optimistic always but never forget its temporary and not gonna be your forever.
- It’s okay to protect your own emotional energy first and prioritise your mental health first. You cannot help your loved ones if you’re emotionally burned out.

- You aren’t responsible for fixing everyone, that is too heavy of a responsibility for one person to have.
- You don’t have to be strong all the time, its okay to be vulnerable, it’s okay to cry and you don’t have to be suppress your own emotions and feelings to make other people feel better.

- Boundaries are so so very important, never ever feel guilty for them.
I’m gonna end this thread here and say I am very proud of you, for being here and for your strength. You are never ever alone.

If you feel like you can’t go on anymore, just hold on for a while longer and it’ll surprise you how quickly everything can change with time.
To the person who’s reading this, I want you to know that you’re so very loved and appreciated and wanted and I’m glad you’re here with us.

Look at you fucking go! Makes me so fucking proud. Keep going, keep fighting and we will make it.
