Well, that's us now closed. And we don't know when, or even if we'll reopen.

We're basing our planning on rumours and press releases. Gossip.

We're led to believe that there will be an announcement on Monday, with restrictions on Wednesday. Gossip.

We're led to believe that pubs will have to shut in the Red tier of the new traffic light system that's being introduced. Gossip.

We've no idea if that also includes breweries, or if we can do take outs. We don't know if we're still considered key workers because we produce food

We don't know if alcohol is going to be declassified, and that we have to shut down completely. Or if we can come in and prepare for a future reopening.

We don't know if any of our stock can be repackaged.

We don't know if bottle shops will be able to open.

We don't know if we'll even qualify for the announced government support.

We don't know if we do qualify, how much of the "up to" we'll qualify for.

We don't honestly know what's happening.

And with all this rumour, gossip, and guesswork, we're supposed to plan to keep our business afloat. To make sure that we can survive, that we can remain viable. That we can come back.

So we've spent the last couple of weeks trying to work out every possible scenario, and how we can react to it, to try and stay here. To try and keep making beer, to try and keep sampling it with everybody.

But there's so much we don't know.

So if anyone, literally *anyone* tried to tell us that this government is supposed to be the party of business, don't waste your breath.

I'm a full supporter of people before profit, always have been, always will be, But it seems that neither people, or small business profit...

...is even being thought about here.
