Reminder that the celebrities/entertainers/artists you meet at comic cons also suffer from social anxiety, stress, migraines, etc. Just bc we don’t carry on a long conversation with each guest doesn’t mean we’re trying to be rude or disinterested. We have bad days, too.
The expectation that every famous person you meet has to behave in a certain way ALL the time and owes you the exact interaction you wish to have is just as bad as the prod. companies that push us to work when we are ill, won’t listen to our valid complaints of mistreatment, etc.
It’s a bummer to meet a celebrity You love and have a disappointing experience, I get it. An astonishing number of us are spoiled, self absorbed, and daft. But please cut us some slack if we just have low energy at a comic con- many of us are just trying to self preserve...
(and SOME

of these cons have a lot of BS going on behind the scenes that we are also trying to navigate while maintaining a smile on our face and interacting with fans, which can be exhausting).
