Share and Connect: Essence of Communication

—a thread
—"No man is an island" a simple phrase, but describes the society we lived in, the society we lived for. We are human beings and our nature is to communicate with other people. +
—We are born to be with others and not just for ourselves. But how can we possibly communicate to others if we don't have prior knowledge about communication and how does it help in the progression of our society? +
—Communication is a process of conveying and exchanging ideas, information, or thoughts from one person to another that can be conveyed in different means that can be used for the convenience of both parties. +
—It might give us an idea of 'I'm talking with myself, I can consider it a form of communication' +
—No! It's not, madame! Communication includes 2 or more people for it to be deemed as communicating. And also, the message should be clear and understood by the receiver! +
—Feedback or response is the key for the speaker to recognize that the receiver understands the message well. +
—We communicate because we exist in a community. It is our responsibility to connect ourselves to others! We communicate because we need it. +
—We must stick in our minds that communication is not only allowing us to share or express ourselves but also to learn and acquire knowledge from our fellow man that will benefit us as we live. +
—But the essence of communication does not stop there, hun~ we have a long way to go! +
—Just like what I said, there's a lot of functions of communication. This can answer our questions "What's the purpose of communicating?"
-to inform - to be able to give information or and disseminate crucial notice. +
—-to motivate - to be able to give inspiration to others and encourage them to move forward.
-to control - to exhibit authority and regulates the behavior of the people.
-to interact - to allow people to interact and socialize with others.

and many more! +
—Communication might look complicated to you, but it isn't! Just try to appreciate every single thing that occurs in your community (simple greeting, asking something, buying stuff) and I'm sure you will truly understand the meaning of Communication! +
