it's been ten years since i got diagnosed with adhd and i'm still waiting on treatment

my average time between burnout is about 20 months now, it used to be worse

i've basically gone from reclusive to shut-in over the last 4-5 years, although cryptid may be more apt of late
atop of all that, i'm pretty much a wreck. haven't had a proper sleep pattern in decades, and struggling to eat on a regular basis

every so often someone asks "how is it" and then i get a "wow, that's bad" but that's just where i am, and have been for a while
i started feeding the birbs sometime last year, tricking myself into leaving the house once a day, and eating food, too

honestly, it's the best thing i've ever done for my mental health
before the pandemic hit, i was seeing other people for about eight hours a month, and well, i think i've seen other people for about eight hours total since everything went to shit

honestly, i don't think things are going to improve for a few years yet
