I just remembered something... The knowledge I have of Black history today, I didn't have it until 10th grade. There are a lot of stuff I didn't know and I only learned them from teachers Northtown. It's sad actually. I encourage @NKCSchools to expand their curriculum.

It's disappointing that a lot of African American students don't a lot about their history. It's sad that whenever African Americans are talked about in class it's the same 3 ppl. I'm tired of teachers only talking about the civil rights movement and slavery.

And this goes for other minorities. It is Hispanic Heritage Month and a lot of people know nothing about it. This is what creates ignorance. This is what creates misconceptions about the world.

Start from elementary schools and make your way up. Please. This is why we are where we are today. Come on @NKCSchools
