I'm 25 now and that means i'm five years from 30

With 5 years left to make a million

I promised i would tell you my portfolio value at 500 followers

but Let's get through this thread about how I got here

I came here from the Bahamas in early 2016.

My mindset had already shifted by then and i'd already read books like

- Rich Dad Poor Dad
- The richest man in Babylon
- Cashflow Quadrant

When i came to america i attended seminars about real estate etc

I had a desire to be wealthy and i still do

I tried my hand at wholesale but i never really grasped the concept

I didn't have credit or credit cards either

Then i got a job

it didn't pay much but it was honest.

My family didn't know it at the time but i was on track to becoming more frugal than they could handle

My first pay check was $610.26

i remember because is saved $61.26

I quickly realized saving 10% wouldn't get me very far

so the more promotions i got, the more i got paid, the more i saved

until i hit my first $1000 saved

What a rush

i couldn't stop saving!

I also wanted to start learning how to make more money

So i started investing

I went from

$1000 5000

$5000 $7000

$7000 $10,000

Now i'm on track to have $30,000 by the end of the year, invested!!

Questions my family would ask me:

Why don't you have a car yet?

Why don't you spend some money?

How did you get like this?

What are you saving for?

Questions strangers would ask me:

Why are you always wearing the same clothes?

When are you moving out?

What are you saving for?

I didn't answer a single one of them

i just kept my head down and kept doing was i was doing

Now that i've turned 25, i know i'm still lacking a few things

- A side hustle
- Emergency fund
- a rocking bod

My girlfriend says people are inspired by me but i can't understand why

i wish i followed them all those years ago.

I've been active on twitter since July and my world has changed

But that's it about me

it's October 10th and i turned 25 years old

To be honest i feel like i'm missing out sometimes but that doesn't matter

and it certainly won't matter when i'm rich.
