If anyone wants to know exactly how i come to back a artist, since i normally am indifferent it’s seeing passages like this. I increasingly am starting to hate this need to portray “serious art that affects the world”. A artist should be free to do anything.
Why beauty in art and stuff like melody etc in classical music is so shit on ill never understand... but wait i seen this recently.. a top 2k painter laying it out for you. Note his own background...... This is what separates me from the left in a way. Conventional art is shit on
(C///ommunists also execute artists as bourgeois. That’s just a fact that’s happened throughout history. C///hina and R///ussia and especially C//ambodia).Every actor/pop singer/youtuber whatever artist that’s popular today would not be spared if they had power. Not just B//ezos)
The hypocritical thing is that there “non bourgeois” art, is even more bourgeois. Conceptual/performance art is more isolated and only for insiders. It’s not true for actual working class people and they shit on these things for being popular. So the support of a average person
Sucks? Promoting rap and professional wrestling along classical and ballet would do infinitely more to make high art less bourgeois than this kind of thing. Instead these rich cunts themselves just make it more insider and even less inclusive. I’m increasingly realising
I would be shut out of these kinda elitist art forms. Because me as a actual bogan is a fan of these kitsch simple kind of works. It’s just so weird to me how this kinda thing works. A painter like B/ouguereau is “bourgeois” yet average people think of his work as actual art.
But stuff like a installation piece of a light turning off and on or actual shit winning acclaim is any less “bourgeois”. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Anyway yeah, thought this was two interesting things and gives me more resolve to break down barriers, end thread. 🤗🤗🤗
