this is coming from someone with a background in public relations and marketing so i’m trying my best to think of smart and useful tactics for the drama to become successful due to simple tasks initiated by fans
1) focus on international power. let knetz be knetz...i know y’all hate to hear it but if you go onto websites like pann/nate/naver & leave comments on mean posts it’ll make the situation 100% worse. knetz always have a problem w ifans and their use of “broken korean” or english
instead let kfans handle stuff like this. if possible, get into contact w kfans. ask them what’s going on and give them a push when it comes to defending him and raising his reputation

2) use your power as an ifan to share on facebook, twitter, instagram, and tiktok!! these are the largest platforms where you can get free and easy promo. let’s start with facebook
FACEBOOK: i’m currently in a true beauty group with 55K people...55,000 PEOPLE...that’s easy promo. every time i post in this group i get 1k likes & there are other groups that cater directly to kdramas, kpop, kactors. don’t be afraid to post and share content w these groups
groups like this are catering almost directly to southeast asian fans for people from ph, indonesia, etc...these are HUGE niche markets that can’t access naver links and videos most of the time. repost the content on there and link to the original source if possible
TWITTER: we’re all on stan twitter...it’s very easy to promote on here if you do away with your pride. using hashtags like #TrueBeauty or #여신강림 when you’re posting simple content like photos or videos will help soooo much bc webtoon fans look under these tags for commentary
look up “true beauty” often and you’ll find fans saying things like “OMG TRUE BEAUTY IS HAVING A DRAMA???” or “when does the true beauty drama come out?” or “who is playing suho in true beauty?” reply to these posts!! ITS COMING OUT IN DEC 2020 ON TVN STARRING CHA EUNWOO...easy
INSTAGRAM: make a side account and just post on the #여신강림 or #TrueBeauty tag...look down these tags and comment on ig posts that are like #TeamSuho vs #TeamSeojun...idgaf about which team you’re on but just comment something like “Team Cha Eunwoo”

also dm big kdrama accounts!!!! tell them about updates if they haven’t posted yet!!! PLEASE THIS IS THE BIGGEST THING
TIKTOK: y’all see all these views...this webtoon is big!! make your own tiktoks, comment on people’s tiktoks, dm people that have made kdrama/true beauty tiktoks before. reach out to the webtoon lovers. i’m almost considering offering influencers like $50 to make a video
3) this is for people that are willing to spend money or donate money to a bigger cause but youtube and instagram ads would help SOOOOO much. def wait until after the first teaser is revealed and post those pics EVERYWHERE literally spam them like fancams. buy ads w the teaser
