Does your answer change if there& #39;s a parent complaint b/c a book portrays 2 dads & they feel it& #39;s not the school& #39;s place to "teach this" to young children b/c their Christian beliefs do not condone & they haven& #39;t talked with their child about it yet?

To clarify: Came from complaint after I read aloud pic book w/2 dads. Was looking for more insights in how to defend.
I stand adamantly against censorship & no one& #39;s humanity should be up for debate.
All students deserve to be seen, supported, & affirmed in read alouds all year.
