It all starts in.. 2004.
Kellogs marketing in Korea launched a "presidential" election to choose the next flavour for the cereals.
Candidate Cheki wants to make your cereals have a deeper chocolate flavour.
Candidate Chaka wants to put green onions in the recipe.

Everyone likes an underdog, and unsurprisingly (except of course to the Kellogs marketing team), Chaka got most of the votes.

Except the "election commitee" removed most of the Chaka votes for "being irregular".
You can imagine how well it went. Everyone wanted the troll to go to its full conclusion (Boaty McBoatface, we all remember).
But so it went... and for 16 years, the scandal was buried.

Until... 2020, the year where the unexpected happens.
Someone at Kellogs (born after 1980 probably) saw an opportunity - and the Green Onion cereals were made real, with a marketing campaign to boot.
