Thread : SeokJin as “Le petit prince”

1- The Little Prince is a French-language book, the best known by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. #MapOfTheSoulOne

An aviator, the narrator of the tale, crashes with his plane in the middle of the Sahara desert after an engine failure. While trying to fix his plane, a little boy appears and asks him to draw a sheep: "Please… draw me a sheep!" " #MapOfTheSoulOne

The prince's relationship with his rose: The little prince came from a planet called B612. On this planet was a flower, a rose.

The little prince fell in love for this rose. She was very capricious at times, demanding constant efforts from the prince. The relationship of the two was very tumultuous.

The two love each other tenderly but do not dare to admit it. Even when the prince announces his departure the rose, which shows some remorse, does not confess its love to him.

As the journey progresses, the prince realizes that behind her character the rose must have felt a love for him and has come to regret having left his planet, constantly asking how she was doing.

Chap 8: «Je n'ai alors rien su comprendre ! J'aurais dû la juger sur les actes et non sur les mots. Elle m'embaumait et m'éclairait. Je n'aurais jamais dû m'enfuir ! J'aurais dû deviner sa tendresse derrière ses pauvres ruses. [...] Mais j'étais trop jeune pour savoir l'aimer. »

The prince gives up his bodily envelope in order to return home. He gets bitten by a snake. His thought is directed to the one who makes his heart beat. #MapOfTheSoulOne
