#DigitalHumanitarian has responded to so many blood appeals reported via @Twitter @Whatsapp , @facebook & via SMS

Imagine the trauma from families who need blood urgently

So how do I hack this ?

Today I will talk about probono work #DigitalHumanitarian has done in to ensure our blood banks have enough stock

It’s not easy handling blood appeals , the emotional baggage triggers my #PTSD attacks

So for a sustainable plan I approached @KNBTSOfficial

We can be changemakers and use our online influence to champion social good issues.

I pitched @KNBTSOfficial on how #DigitalHumanitarian can support (Probono) on social media to mobilise blood

Pitch sailed

We were granted access to manage @MOH_Kenya national blood bank

While volunteering @KNBTSOfficial offering probono service

#DigitalHumanitarian trained the KNBTS staff from @NakuruCountyGov, @KisumuCountyKE, @MTRHofficial, @MombasaCountyKe & @NMS_Kenya to on digital storytelling and how to engage Donors incl @pledge25kenya

The arrangement between #DigitalHumanitarian & @KNBTSOfficial was purely for Social Good purposes

We started #IkoDamuKe and thanks to so many #KOT who always helped spread word @Brianmbunde @mmnjug @DjSoxxy @ShaffieWeru @carolinespencer plus many others
