I hosted http://www.lawyermomowner.com  summit with @JeenaBelil. 100% female speakers and diverse in age and race. Not a single law school career office bought tix for students. Not a single woman bar association spread the word. Mainstream legal media did not report on it.

At some point conferences become about money and business. If there’s no turnout, events don’t make money, people don’t attend and the regular male white panels return. So it’s not enough to have a list of diverse speakers. need commitment to support events that they attend
