The designer that Dazed featured was making shoe crop tops in April, whereas Friskmegood has been making shoe corsets since 2019... Once again, I see a black creative popularising something (that post went viral) and once again not getting their flowers until yt people do it...

My point is: idc if you like the design or not, (which is fine since everyone has a taste-level) but I'm pissed that DAZED is passing it off as cutting-edge fashion/streetwear now when it's on a white body and white designer but the black model went VIRAL a month ago
Black Creatives are so undervalued and overlooked and this is a prime example to me
