"O Kuru Srestā, you performed one of the greatest adharmās that no villian in the history of mankind ever did," Krishna replied.

"And what's that, Vāsudev?," Bhisma asked again.

"You had both strength and power yet, you kept silence when your own daughter-in-law was being undressed in the hall filled with men," Krishna replied, "Performing injustice is indeed adharmā, but tolerating adharmā and keeping silence is even worse than that."

"If adharmā is agni, then tolerance and silence against it is the fuel for it. One who keeps silence against injustice is more problematic than the one who performs it," Krishna added.
