There are quite a few occasions when some old beef from 20 years ago that’s been simmering away ALMOST bubbles to the surface, but they always manage to pull it back just in the nick of time.

At one point, they’re teasing H for being too tight to buy a Brit Award (they only got one for free and had to shell out £500 or something for individual ones). You can actually hear it slowly dawning on the others that H probably had the original all along, for “reasons”.

Most poignant bit for me is when the others have been having a bit of a grumble about various things they’d disliked over the years about being in Steps, and Lisa says that actually, she just loved every second of it.

They all come across really well, it’s so funny that the “personalities” their fans have allocated them over the years are pretty much spot on. I guess that’s because we really do feel we know them, so it’s like listening in on a chat with your oldest mates. Love them!
