#EndSARS a thread
Anger is very powerful and can get you in the door. It is however, not sustainable.
We need to develop policies for reform closely behind. This will be ther other side of the coin.

Let's talk about the fact that the looting is systemic. This level 15 officer will need to buttress his salary with about 40k weekly and demands a 40k payout from his subordinates.
Those subordinates then require 100k from their own subordinates, 40k for each oga till it gets to the men at the bottom of the food chain.
These men then harass us
I believe that as we strike to #EndSARS, we follow our anger closely with reforms after SARS is disbanded.
This thread acknowledges but does not address the greed and wickedness that plagues us as a people but if we fail to plan out our preferred path to end #SARS, these same men would dress up in different regalia and kill us then we would start protesting that new group.
One of such policy is that all assault rifles be taken from police officers and they be given pistols.

I have never seen police officers carry rifles on the street in the absense of a civil war.
Another policy is that the living conditions of the police needs to be enhanced.
As we define these policies and #EndSARS, we need to be sure we're thinking -
"How will these men earn feel dignified by their labor? How can they move up in life with the sweat of their brow without having to loot and terrorise people?"
This is the other side of anger.
End of thread
