Please pass this thread to any person who continues to deny that schools are driving coronavirus infections.
Public Health England yesterday revealed that educational settings were the largest source of CV19 multiple outbreaks of any institution comprising of 36% of outbreaks & over 1,000 in educational setting in England over the last month. Public Health England also published a surveillance report which showed that 21,000+ infections had occurred in those aged 10-19 in the previous fortnight https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/925094/COVID19_Weekly_Report_06_October_2020.pdf

For those still unconvinced, The Office For National Statistics yesterday publishes its infection data which showed that the rate of infection for those aged 11-16 had quintupled in just a month.

Lastly, 3,060 UK Schools have CV19 infections. More than 1,000 have clusters. Clusters take a while to get into their stride at schools. We’re seeing serious clusters in Scotland now which opened earlier than others. England’s clusters though numerous are smaller in size for now
