Flashback to the time I was a criminal justice major and had to hope i’d be accepted to a specific class. It was a criminal procedure class. The instructor was wildly popular, it was over booked every semester.

We would have to take desks from empty classrooms to have seats
He would turn students away, because so many tried to get in past capacity.

Anyways. I thought this was a good thing. He must’ve been a good prof. He must’ve been doing something right that he was so popular, right?

(I was young, believed in changing things from the inside)
I got into his class.
The first thing he told us?

If you want to torture a suspect into a confession and not get caught? Wear a wetsuit and beat them with a pipe.

The wetsuit would make dna disposal easy +who would believe a guy in wetsuit tortured a confession outta ya?
His first lesson was how to torture confessions out of people without being caught.

But reform cops or whatever
So anyways, when y’all hear me say “reappropriation of manufactured goods”? That was from him. Bc he thought it was hilarious that college kids were stealing desks from empty classrooms. I thought it was woke back then.

I mean the saying *is* good. Just not in his context
