Why Sergio Aguero is the greatest ever striker in the Premier league, a thread:

Goals
Sergio Aguero might not have the most goals in the league but that's no surprise considering the number of games he played. Shearer took 441games to score 260 goals, Rooney took 491 to score 208 while Cole took 414 to score 187.
Aguero scored 180 goals in 263 games.
Number of appearences does not show the entire picture. Due to injuries, Aguero averages around 70 minutes/game. If we dive deeper and look at goals per 90, the stats are even more impressive. Aguero leads the chart along with Henry, having scored 0.91 g/90 minutes.
Next we have the minutes per goal.
Aguero has the best minutes-per-goal ratio, finding the net on average every 108 minutes, with Kane (116), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (118), Salah (119) and Henry (122) making up the top five.
Goals against top 6
Aguero also has more goals than any other player in history against the ‘Big Six’, having netted 44 times in 67 games.
To give that figure some perspective, Jamie Vardy is second on the list with 31 goals, while Kane and Rooney are both level in third with 23.
20+ PL goals per season
In spite of Aguero’s inability to stay fully fit through an entire Premier League season, he has put together five consecutive 20-goal seasons. Thierry Henry is on par and not even Shearer who spent 14 seasons in the Prem has more.
Hattricks
With his Hattrick against Villa, Aguero has surpassed Shearer's record of 11 hattricks in the league, not to mention he did it in 186 (one-hundred and eighty six) fewer games.
Goal Sharing
Man City often has 3-4 goalscorers in their starting line up, not to mention City is the only club in PL to have five players score 10+ goals in one season. Considering that goal scoring opportunities are shared between all the players, Aguero's record is phenomenal.
Conclusion
Aguero is one of the most consistent, gifted and talented strikers in the world. Had it not been for his injuries, his stats would've been comparable to the likes of Messi and Ronaldo. He is undoubtedly the best striker Premier League has ever seen
