Leaving your town behind and pretending you're a Good White because you act like you're different and superior to the people of your hometown and now surround yourself among people of color is not being liberatory

To note there are really people with good reason to never go back to their hometown (LGBTQ folks looking for safety, traumatized people, etc) but this goes out to that one person that went to college and discovered they love to do the wobble with upper middle class Black people.
