Alright, so I need to talk about the #GintamaTheFinal trailer more in-depth, and luckily, Twitter is the perfect outlet for that, so I'm using this thread for that. BEWARE OF MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD...

The GOAT, the only and only. Gintoki looks so good here. It looks like he's in the air with the tower behind him, so this is probably one of the scenes where he's jumping, maybe the one where he smashes the tower? Which he kind of does twice, I think lol. #GintamaTheFinal

Oh, the artwork is so good. The linework reminds me a lot of Sasaki's, so either this is one of his cuts, or the general designs are more to his style, either is great. #GintamaTheFinal

We didn't really get a ton of sakuga cuts or anything, but we got snippets, and I can tell we're gonna get some glorious animation, I hope the very best the series has to offer. #GintamaTheFinal

Loving the red and green here btw, usually, it's just the standard light blue, but this is a bit more stylised, which I like. #GintamaTheFinal

I do hope they give Takasugi a bit more of a tired, dirty, bloody look and that this is just one shot, cause Sorachi did such a great job with it in the manga, and I don't feel like, at least in this shot, it's just not quite enough. #GintamaTheFinal

Alright, so now, a couple of things before I finish this. The theme song will be "Wadachi" by SpyAir, and an insert song by DOES. It just cannot get better than that. I even thought DOES broke up but I guess they got back together for Gintama. Man... #GintamaTheFinal

Something I am a bit worried about is actually the art style, and it's cause in some shots, the characters look a bit pale. It's probably cause of the shiny look, but I hope this won't be too frequent. #GintamaTheFinal

But then, in the first PV they all looked perfect, and in the poster, and in other shots it's no problem whatsoever and looks great, so who knows what the final product will be like. Gintoki's hair also seems to have a more purple hue than the usual blue. #GintamaTheFinal

Another thing is that while I do like the red and green colours when they attack with their swords, I hope they don't go overboard and add stuff like that it in fistfights, cause I need that 703 to be raw and brutal. Gin vs Sugi had this issue in one cut. #GintamaTheFinal

Other than that, I hope we get some experimental visual direction as well. The trailer is so short and shows so little so it's hard to make overall judgments, but the 2015 season had great storyboarding & colour grading for example, so I hope this movie will too. #GintamaTheFinal

Other than that, I have nothing else to say. Animation and OST will probably be stellar, designs are great, and as long as it's confirmed the special will adapt content too (a rumour is going around there will even be 3 specials), then all is good with the world. #GintamaTheFinal
