So basically this team started as a theory like, I was in a call with a friend building a different team and I was like "hey what Pokemon learn beat up?" And saw hydregon. It was pretty fast, and if I paired it with cobalion, all I would need is a fairy type-
To complete the defensive triangle.
So with those two, I wanted something that was pretty bulky that hits hard and could pair with the two of them in most situations, and I decided primarina was probably the best idea. With the added water type, I wanted to do a second defensive-
Triangle, with grass/water/fire as well, and I decided that talonflame would be a good option for fire, while being able to provide speed control through tailwind and also additional support with taunt. I also realized that I wanted redirection, and amoongus was a great option-
Because it was grass, and it also had redirection from rage powder, with bonus disruption with spore.

So that's 5 of the 6 Pokemon, and I wanted one more that was also bulky, but could add additional support to the team. Rotom-wash is something that could be built in several-
Ways, and I wanted a sort of speedy, high damage set, because it's still pretty bulky, even without specing too much onto the defences. Because of its decent speed I could put supportive moves like eerie impulse and will-o-wisp to ruin the opposing Pokemon's offensive power.
I like this team a lot because it can prevent trick room with the talonflame+amoongus lead using double disruption through taunt+spore. There's just so many different approaches I can take in terms of offence and it's just generally a pretty good all around team.
I probably should've put the pokepaste in the beginning but here's a more in-depth look at the spreads https://pokepast.es/1ffbeaf9b9b4b7e1

I kinda wanted to make this thread because people have asked about teambuilding and stuff so I kinda just wanted to explain my process a bit
