Can I tell you guys something? When I first came out, my first gf told me she wouldn’t want to be with me if I was bi (talk about a red flag) so I mislabeled myself as a lesbian to be taken seriously in the gay community and by her.
This was ultimately a toxic move for many reasons I won’t get into in this thread. But I finally found the courage to talk about it with Jess tonight and she was so supportive and loving and kind and I just feel so lucky to have her by my side.
So all of this to say, hi, hello, my name is Rebecca, some incredible people call me Lenny, I mislabeled myself for the last ten years as a lesbian, a term I’ve grown to really resent, but I am actually attracted to all people regardless of gender.
And in my final tweet of this thread I will say, don’t let anyone pressure you into putting a label on yourself, you’re incredible and wonderful as you are. You are loved, and I am here for youhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😌" title="Erleichtertes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Erleichtertes Gesicht">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🏳️‍🌈" title="Regenbogen-Flagge" aria-label="Emoji: Regenbogen-Flagge">
