FB memories hit me with this photo. It's a shot of me in Seattle, waiting for the plane that would take me over to San Francisco for #BBC19.

I still can't believe how quickly life changed for me because of that con.
Last year, I was constantly struggling with financial constraints & wondering if my releases mattered. I could rarely buy things I needed, much less stuff I had always wanted. Plus, despite the work I did, many viewed me as anathema to gaming spaces because of my principles.
This year, my Patreon is growing, I'm on several KSes, been invited to a number of streams, and am juggling over five NDA projects for big names. One of them is bringing me right back to my roots as it is something that was a dream of mine since I first picked up dice as a GM.
I am always overwhelmed whenever my thoughts turn to how things shifted, and what is yet to come. This is why it's important to work towards filling in missing stairs and smashing open gates. Because a few of you took a chance and believed in me, I am here to stay. So, thank you.
I hope to one day be in the position to do what others did for me. There's a lot of potential in #RPGSEA. So many of us aren't just fighting a lack of visibility, but hatred from our own spaces. Every publishing cred goes ways towards making us unstoppable.

The fight continues.
