Megan Fox was one of the harshest life lessons i've had. She was not only smart enough to predict what was going to happen to her, she was smart enough to know that the fans weren't able or willing to hear her when she explained it.

Seriously. Idk what she does with herself these days, but up through Jonah Hex at the least that woman spit absolute fire in interviews.

Someone asked her if she thought she was a good actress and she basically said 'i don't know. Nobody has hired me to act yet. Maybe i'll find out some day'.

On the Jonah Hex set everyone was cooing over how tiny her waist was, and she basically tells a reporter 'oh, this is nothing. I can get it down to 16 inches, no problem. But that crossed the line, apparently. It freaked the men out.'

I remember the press coverage of every movie until Jennifer's Body, a decade old film. Then in the JB press junkets she told the press that this was basically about her, and she knew no one would get that when she filmed it.

...then her career got murdered because the popular consciousness saw the more overt sexuality, stopped perceiving her as the sweet-sexy virginal girl next door, got mad that she mouthed off and laughed at her reputation as it died.

...anywho, Jennifer's Body is an excellent movie, and watching the entire world COMPLETELY miss the point broke my teen girl heart back then, so hey, check it out maybe.
