Ima be real. Lena was someone who grew on me over time. GREAT character and obviously McGrath is stunning. But it wasn’t until this video right here that I said, “OH”. Like I GET it, get it now. And yes, it’s logistically accurate.

And I don’t mean the *literal* show. Kara will always be the tippity top. It’s her story. She outshines everybody, always has and always will. But wow, Lena just demands a spotlight without trying. It makes sense why that’s threatening to some people who prefer other characters.

Seen it happen before with other shows/characters/actors. Sometimes, sadly, people think that by someone shining brightly or having presence galore or the most chemistry with the lead, it somehow takes something from other characters, actors or pairings. Let lights shine though!

PS Lex should’ve come in to add to HER story, not been prioritized over her. She’s a scene stealer, the superior Luthor, a ripe character that subverts the Super/Luthor lore and one half of the best ship the show‘s ever had (yet also not had...). Not capitalizing on that: fail.
