If middle governing bodies, seminaries, and other church-related orgs want to help local pastors right now, some ideas:
- offer a free advent Sunday School curriculum/online series
- free pre-written newsletter articles
- downloadable library of free advent graphics

- grants for technology upgrades (my presbytery did this)
- grants to cover counseling co-pays
- grants to cover additional child care expenses

- send a pastor a note about something you saw their church doing that you think is super rad
- send a church’s session/board an about some thing you saw them doing during pandemic that is rad
- cancel all regional committee meetings in December

- if you’re in leadership at a middle governing body/seminary/org, take your vacation days and days off, and be public about it- talk about how you are taking breaks and let’s help each other bust that expectation that we’re all going to save the church by working ourselves sick
