This type of thing is not okay, as in the provided image. It's hypocritical, saying 'do things privately' and then going on to make a public post, needlessly disrespectful, and purposeless, not looking to start a dialogue but needlessly insult. https://twitter.com/vladfad581/status/1314726972073955338
People make errors, often ones they regret and don't agree with. And what's good is the steps were quickly taken to talk things through and come to an understanding. Then there are things like this dm, which serves no purpose other than to needlessly bully and harass.
I'm not one to talk so harshly, usually I'm much more point by point analysis with this type of thing, but this is really something that needs to be addressed. I myself for example, have done things and hurt people that I regret, but I made it a point to open a dialogue with them
so as to come to an understanding and make amends. But, for someone to use their platform to mock, and bully someone, then to go, just in case this wasn't enough, let me say it right to you, is horrendous. Someone who does that kind of thing, in general, shouldn't have a platform
to be clear, this is meant to be a discussion about morality, not a personal attack. Nobody benefits when someone's version of an argument is a mish-mashed jumble of grammatically incorrect curse words.
I know that I too have made reference to individuals doing something disagreeable in the past, yet like I said, I work things through with those people when I can, and I convey it as an overall message in morality, as it should be.
I ask you all, what is the point? What is the point of harassment, what is the point of insult, what is the point of cursing somebody out? Even on small scales, it has an impact. Having an opinion is okay, everybody has opinions, and those differ from those of others.
There's no call for this type of behaviour. It's childish, pointless, rude, and generally awful. This thread was made on nobody's behalf, simply to discuss the issues with morality behind the message.
