Redoing the Sixers 2019 Offseason

1st step:

Fire Brett Brown, this is an obvious one. No accountability and just a clueless coach in general.

2nd Step:

Convince Jimmy Butler to resign.

Jimmy didn’t have any plans on staying in Philly, mostly because of Brett being there. Now that he’s gone, convincing him will be a lot easier. If he agrees, sign him on a -

5yr/190 million deal

3rd Step:

Hire Monty Williams as the next Philadelphia head coach. Easily the best option at the time, and it makes sense considering the fit with the team.

4th step:

Resign Tobias Harris, ON A BETTER CONTRACT this time around. Great player, who can be a lethal scoring option going forward.

I’m thinking — 4yr 98m

5th step:

Sign Seth Curry. Can have the same role JJ had, but will be significantly cheaper as well as being way younger.

4yr - 33m

6th step:

Sign quality role players with the leftover money. I’m thinking guys like Dario Saric, Derrick Rose, Trey Burke, Markieff Morris, Justin Holliday, Alec Burks.

8th Step:

Draft Matisse Thybulle. Yes.

Overall:

This is a revised/better developed version of the team that was extremely close to winning the finals.
