I need to vent!

My father is 81. He remarried years ago and has a stepdaughter my age. She convinced them to sell their home and invest in a horse farm for her. The other investor was her BF. My father and his wife would get a small house on the property.

Well, as always happens with this girl (btw, she is 47) she broke up with the guy and now he is kicking my dad out of his house on the property. Turns out, they only had a verbal contract!

I’m so angry with this selfish girl and at my father for being a stupid fucker at 81, to take such a huge risk with all that he had.

There is no way for him to recoup his losses and my stepsister probably doesn’t even realize what she did to them.

What a stupid decision!

Now he is asking my sisters to co sign on a loan for a new place.

My sisters now feel like shit for having to say no to him but it’s just not a smart thing to do. He feels desperate and is begging. They are both texting me because they are so upset.

It didn’t need to be.
