Soft reminder that last year the Nigerian Police Force raped 70 women with satchet water nylons as condoms and most Nigerians blamed the women for being prostitutes and staying out late at night.

Soft reminder that no one showed up this much with this vim for Nigerian women.
It's easy to get angry at the women who are saying they don't want to protest.
It's not because they don't care.
They are tired of having unreciprocated energy.

It should not be a competition but where was this amount of anger and rage when Tina Ezekwe was murdered?
Where?
My team and I that organized the #SayHerNameNigeria protests wrote petitions endlessly calling for the disbandment of the AEFB which routinely still raids women in Abuja.

Nothing wsdone.
No body did anything and yet there are quiet calls to diversify the AEFB into other states.
Women are fucking tired honestly.

At a protest to end police brutality, women protesters still got sexually harrassed by male protesters.
Anyone who looks at this issue sensibly should thank the women who are protesting cause frankly if we are to go by what Nigerian men do?
Hm.
Nigerian women show up constantly even when it's not guaranteed that the same would be done for us.

I spoke with a woman who is not speaking against this SARS issue.
Her response?
Why should I support a movement whose first leader tried silencing a rape victim?

Hmmm.
Some women have told me in private.
"Babe there's really no point fighting for SARS to end as a woman cause what SARS can do to you is what a police officer and a random market man can do. You end SARS does not mean you end Nigerian culture of violating women".

Can't fault them.
It actually really hurts when people say they did not remember or even know about the protests last year.

Cause going through this thread, one thing is common.
That all the women in it, are rallying behind the #ENDSARS movement.
When would the world rally for us? https://twitter.com/asangelwassayin/status/1255234034944401409
