I also have a git repo (created by someone else) that contains the FAA registration DB from 2008 to now. Scraped on a yearly basis until 2015, then monthly until 2018, then daily. Sometimes you can see when someone changed the reg on an aircraft to a trust to hide ownership.
I've experimented with loading every revision of that FAA DB repo into Datomic, to make querying the changes over time easy. It worked, though I'm not really fluent in Datalog.
