I strongly encourage Manitobans to limit Thanksgiving gatherings to household members, consider virtual or contactless celebrations and limit the number of in-person gatherings you attend to help reduce the spread of #COVID19. (1/6)
Anyone at increased risk of serious outcomes from #COVID19, including seniors and those living with a compromised immune system or chronic conditions should take extra precautions to lower their risk and #StaySafe. (2/6)
Residents of personal care homes are especially vulnerable to #COVID19 and any visits over the weekend should be planned using extra caution and following current recommendations and guidelines. (3/6)
If you do choose to gather with family or friends, get together within group size limits for your region and spend time outdoors as much as possible to avoid closed-in spaces. (4/6)
If you are eating together, clean and disinfect common touch surfaces, don’t share utensils, condiments or other objects. Consider having one individual serve guests food or order individual portions from a restaurant or caterer. (5/6)
Thanksgiving can be celebrated safely. We must continue to work together to #ReduceTheRisk of #COVID19 and protect our family, friends and loved ones. (6/6)
