We got kicked off our flight. Our 2.5 year old wouldn't put on his mask. We had practiced beforehand, but he wasn't having it. @SouthwestAir staff was apologetic. I get they don't make the rules. I hope airlines ease up the rules because this really limits families with toddlers.
Do all of your traveling before you have kids lol
I understand that airlines are in a tough position. They want customers to feel safe enough to fly- but it's unreasonable to require toddlers to wear a mask for the entire flight. @WHO says "in general, children aged 5 years and under should not be required to wear masks."
I also understand that there are people who don't like kids on flights. I can promise you that you will have a much more pleasant and quiet experience if parents aren't trying to get their toddlers to put back on their masks. Cue the screams.
